Obituary

--William L. "Bill" Nedeau, 76, passed away on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at his home in rural Osage City, Kansas. He was born August 20, 1940 in Topeka, Kansas the son of Henry William and Kathryn Olga Lue Nedeau.
His early years were spent in Topeka, later he moved with his family to Overbrook where his love for dogs began, with running beagles, coon dogs and greyhounds as a youth. He graduated from Overbrook High School in 1958.
Bill worked for Midwest Appraisers of Nebraska, and for the Osage County Appraisers office. He worked for John Hoffer in Topeka, Branine Motors in Osage City. He then retired to become a cowboy on the Porter Ranch, later running parts for NAPA in Osage City. Bill went all over the country judging Field Trials for the pointing breeds. Bill was also a founding member of the Trailriders Saddle Club.
Bill married Lois Vawter in Scranton in 1962, they later divorced. In 1989 Bill married Billie Oliver in rural Osage City.
Bill is survived by his son, Tim Nedeau of Scranton; a daughter, Jodi Nedeau (Jim) Perry of Carbondale; and Billie's daughter, Janet Fisher of Manhattan; 3 granddaughters, Alyssa Fisher of Topeka; Briana Fisher of Manhattan; and Brynna Perry of Carbondale.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife Billie on January 17, 2017, by his daughter Paula Nedeau in 1986 and his parents, Henry and Kathryn; sisters, Shirley Little; Marilyn Mercer;and Juanita Nedeau.
Funeral services for Bill will be Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon at 11:00a.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions for Bill may be made to the Kansas Hunting Dog Club or the Wild Horse and Burro Program in Hutchinson, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave. Lyndon, Ks. 66451.
