Obituary

Osage City--Wanda Miles, 95, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Osage Nursing Center. She was born on June 28, 1922 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Ernest and Nellie Blank.
Wanda had worked as a cook for the Hilltop Nursing Home in Lyndon and Petersons Nursing Home in Osage City. She had been a member of the Lyndon American Legion Auxiliary.
Wanda married Tom Erwin, they later divorced. She then married John Miles, he preceded her in death on June 23, 1992.
Wanda was also preceded in death by her son Jimmy Erwin; her adopted daughter, Margie Foust; her brother, Jack Blank; her sister, Reba McCurley; and a great-grandson, Dalton Nichols.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Carol Roush of Lyndon; five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Wanda's life at 6:00pm on Saturday, August 19 at the Lyndon Cemetery Memorial Building. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wanda Miles Memorial Fund, to be designated later, and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
