Wanda Elliott, 82, formerly of Lyndon passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Osage Nursing Center. Wanda was born on January 9,1932 in Morrisville, Mo., to William V and Sarah H. Painter Ryan.
Wanda was a retired bookkeeper for an oil company. She enjoyed camping and was as avid fisher woman.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jack, her parents, two sons John Husband, Steven Wigner, and two sisters Barbara Cox, Jean Browning, she is survived by two sons Robert Husband of Pierceville, Ks.; Frank Wigner of Issoqush, Wa.; two daughters Debra Blankenship of Ft. Smith, Ar.; Anita Wigner of Osage City, KS.; Six brothers Ernie, Floyd, Larry, Ronnie Ryan all of Missouri; Steve and Tony Ryan both of Arkansas; Six sisters Dedria Plamer of Florida ;Jenny Ryan, Kay Nelson both of Colorado; Patsy Orlowski of Michigan; Peggy Ryan of Missouri; Rosemary Snuffer of Nevada. Six grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Services for Wanda will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon, visitation will be Thursday evening, December 18, family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at the funeral home, burial will be in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Topeka, Ks.
