Topeka--Twyla Beth Cunningham, 67, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was born on July 18, 1947 in Topeka, the daughter of Glenn and Wilma Nichols Hunsicker.
Twyla had lived in Tampa, FL. and Kansas City, but most of her life was spent in the Topeka community.
Twyla had worked as an Administrative Assistant for the District Court of Shawnee County. She was a member of the Topeka Baptist Church.
On April 1, 1967 Twyla was married to William Cunningham in Topeka.
Twyla is survived by her husband Bill of the home; her son Chris Cunningham of Germany; five siblings, David Hunsicker of CA., Sharon Glassburner of Texas, Gary Hunsicker of Kansas, Alice Heine of Kansas and Marilyn
Goldsleger of PA; two grandchildren, Ciara Travis and Christopher Cunningham; and two great-grandchildren, Kieran Travis and Piper Travis, with two on the way.
Memorial services for Twyla will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 7 at the Topeka Baptist Church at 4500 SW Gage Blvd. Inurnment will be in the Highland Cemetery at a later date.
