Lyndon--Tanya Trego, 61, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on July 15, 1957 in Henrietta, Oklahoma, the daughter of Carl and Analou Baker Higgins.
Tanya had lived in Lyndon for the past 30 years. She had worked at Ned Hiatt's R.V. Sales for several years.
Tanya was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Analou; by two brothers, James Higgins and Glen Higgins; and one sister, Carlene Price.
Tanya is survived by her three children, Nicholas Trego of Lyndon, Ryan Trego of Harveyville and Megan (Travis) Bilyeu of Osage City; three brothers, Pat Higgins, David Higgins of Caney and Mike Higgins of Dover; seven sisters, Delores Grubb of Silver Lake, Linda Moran of Topeka, JoAnn Hepworth of Dover, Jan Higgins of Canada, Sandy Allen of Topeka, Naomi Devlin and Donna Higgins of Florida; and five grandchildren, Rylan Trego, Nikki Trego, Breeona Trego, Oliver Bilyeu and Amelia Bilyeu.
Memorial services for Tanya will be at 3:00pm on Thursday, June 6 at the Cross Road Community Church in Scranton, 512 S. Mason St. Memorial contributions may be made to the Help House in Lyndon. Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon is assisting the family.
