Burlington - Stephanie Ann Herrick, 48, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Life Care Center in Burlington, Kansas. She was born on May 22, 1975, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Kerry and Mary (LeValley) Kitt.

Stephanie grew up in Lyndon and graduated from Lyndon High School in 1994. She had lived in Osage City, Lebo, Waverly and had been in Burlington for the last 9 years.

Stephanie had battled Muscular Dystrophy since high school. She loved butterflies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary.

Stephanie is survived by her dad and stepmom, Kerry and Marilyn Kitt of Burlington; her brother, Darin Kitt of Garnett; other relatives and friends.

Graveside memorial services for Stephanie will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 20 at the Melvern Cemetery. Inurnment will be in the Melvern Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
