Carbondale--Sophia Grace Rhoads, 2 years old, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at her home near Carbondale surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 30, 2012 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Alex and Emily Forbes Rhoads.
Sophia had spent most of her time as a "Princess Extraordinaire".
Sophia is survived by her parents, Alex and Emily, of the home; her grandparents, Don and Tammy Forbes of Carbondale, Terri Rhoads of Carbondale and Charles Prewit of Scranton; her great-grandparents, Merle and Grace Marsh of Carbondale and Peggy Rhoads of Topeka.
Funeral services for Sophia will be at 10:30am on Monday August 31, 2015 at the Cross Road Community Church in Scranton. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:30pm on Sunday at the church.
