Lyndon--Sarah Sue Reece, 60, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on October 15, 1959 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Donald and Nancy Streeter Reece.

Sarah had lived in the Lyndon and Melvern communities for over 40 years. She graduated from Lyndon High School in 1977. She worked at the Lyndon Carnegie Library, at BETO Junction and as a secretary for Econo-Clad in Topeka for over 20 years.

Sarah was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy, on March 15, 1998; by her brother, Don Reece, Jr. on April 9, 2004; and a great-nephew, Rhett James Reece.

Sarah is survived by her father, Donald (Jane) Reece, Sr. of Meriden; her two brothers, Duane "Buck" (Lety) Reece of Burlington and Ron (Tami) Reece of Lyndon; her sister, Shelly (Lyle) Janssen of Melvern; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services for Sarah will be at 3:00pm on Sunday, November 24 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until service time at the chapel. Inurnment will be in the Melvern Cemetery at a later date.
