Scranton--Russell E. Mundy, 51, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at his home in Scranton, Kansas. He was born on June 15, 1965 in Ottawa, Kansas the son of Burnham "Butch" and Patsy Martin Mundy.
Russell had lived in Ottawa and Scranton most of his life. He had worked in construction for many years, as a sheet-rocker and in guttering installation.
Russell was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy.
Russell is survived by his son, Kyle Mundy of Missouri; his father and step mother, Butch and Martha Mundy of Scranton; his sister, Cynthia Michaels of Grand Prairie, Texas; two step sisters, Kelsey Hartpence and Anna Nottingham; a step brother, Josh Nottingham; and three grandsons and one granddaughter.
Graveside services for Russell will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, November 14 at the Highland Cemetery north of Lyndon. Memorials may be made to the Feltner Funeral Home to help with expenses.
