Robert Dean Vowell, 72, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at a care facility in Topeka, Kansas. He was born November 4, 1943 in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Lonnie and Gladys Miller Vowell.
Bob had lived most of his life in the Carbondale community and had recently moved to Burlingame.
Bob had worked in the Heating and Cooling trade for many years and taught the trade at Forbes Field in Topeka.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Kathy Kraus.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Thea "Bobette" Butler, Topeka; his brother, Ronald Vowell, Carbondale; his three grandchildren, Kelby Robinson, Topeka, Kelsey Robinson, Topeka, and Logan Ramsey-McDaniel, Lawrence; his three great-grandchildren, Rhylin, Sebastian and Lukas.
Graveside services for Bob will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Carbondale Cemetery at Carbondale, Kansas.
