Lyndon - Robert Lee Kline, Sr., 70, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his son's home near Lyndon, Kansas. He was born on August 12, 1953, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Robert and Joyce (Caudle) Lemon. He had been adopted and raised by Walter Scott Kline.

Robert was raised in Topeka but had lived in Kansas City and Vassar for several years before moving back to Topeka.

Robert had worked in the heating and cooling trade for most of his years. He worked for Henson's Home Comfort, then owned and operated Kansas Solar and Electric. He worked in facilities management for several years, was a service technician and then a painter for Mid-American Painting.

On November 21, 1973, Robert was married to Vickie Anderson. They later divorced.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by his six children, Robert (Lynn) Kline, Jr. of Lyndon, Clifton Kline of Topeka, Angela (Brandon) Smith of Lyndon, Robin (Bill) McKinnon of Lyndon, Joel (Anna) Kline of Littleton, Colorado and Briana Kline of Lawrence; his three brothers, Charles Kline of Kansas City, KS, Mark (Elaine) Henson of Ohio and Allen (Leta) Henson of Cameron, Missouri; his three sisters, Tina Stice, Pam Henderson and Bobbie (Terrence) Shreve, all of Lawrence; his nineteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Robert will be at 10:30am on Friday, August 16, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Friday.
