Lyndon--Patricia "Patty" Brecheisen, 58, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at her home near Lyndon, KS. She was born on December 5, 1957 in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Danny and Dorothy Lewis Brecheisen.
Patty grew up on the farm south of Vassar, had lived in Ottawa and then lived in Lyndon for the last several years.
Patty had worked at J.B.'s, H.D. Lee, the Horseshoe, the Ottawa Antique Mall and the Franklin County Sale Barn, all in Ottawa and then at Breck's Green Acres near Pomona Lake. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Patty was married to Steve Wells in September of 1975, they divorced in March of 1992.
Patty was preceded in death by her dad, Danny Brecheisen on December 10, 2002; Michelle Bass, Jim Jim Bass and Angel Lane.
Patty is survived by her three children, Teresa Lane (Bruce) of Lyndon, Chuck Wells (Christina) of Missouri and Lisa Wells (Dean Lane) of Otttawa; her mother, Dorothy Brecheisen of Vassar; her two brothers, Randy Brecheisen (Delinda) of El Dorado and Steve Brecheisen (Raylene) of Vassar; her four sisters, Sandy Glenn of Lyndon, Cheryl Brecheisen of Scranton, Charlene Sage (Kenneth) of Burlingame and Marsha Ball (Delbert) of Vassar; and her twelve grandchildren.
Funeral services for Patty will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 27 at the Mt. Pleasant Community Church southeast of Lyndon. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00pm on Tuesday at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon.
