Pamela Jean Gillard's Obituary
Melvern - Pamela Jean Gillard, 71, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Countryside Health Center in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on January 26, 1950 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Orville and Lois (Kramer) Arb.
Pam grew up in Melvern, had lived for a time in Overbrook but had lived most of her life in the Melvern community.
Pam graduated from Melvern High School in 1969. She attended classes at Allen County Community College and Clark's Business School. Pam was a Homemaker and had worked for Blue Cross/Blue Shield and also worked in the County Clerk's Office of the Osage County Courthouse. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Vassar.
Pam is currently married to Clark Gillard.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Lois; and by one brother, Jerry Arb.
Pam is survived by her three daughters from her marriage to Craig Gillard, Susan (Brian) Lacey of Overbrook, Paula (Joe) Anderson of Lyndon and Michelle Gillard of WIchita; her two brothers, Tom Arb and Steve Arb, both of Melvern; her five grandchildren, Emma, Ella, Cassidy, Braeden and Makayla; and her step grandson, Hunter.
Memorial services for Pam will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, January 9 at the Zion Lutheran Church at Vassar. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall. Inurnment will be in the Melvern Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions for Pam may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
