Obituary

Nola Jean Cox, 84, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas. She was born on December 12, 1933 in Galt, Missouri the daughter of John and Della Hess Molloy.
Nola had lived in Dover before moving to Lyndon in 1973. She worked for SRS in Osage County for 22 years.
On July 2, 1949 Nola was married to John Cox in Haseville, Missouri. To this union eight children were born.
Nola was preceded in death by her husband John on November 19, 2006; by her parents, John and Della; her three brothers, George Molloy, John Molloy and Francis Molloy; her sister, Rose Ralls; and two grandchildren, Nicholas Thompson and Diane Sparks.
Nola is survived by her four sons, Gary Cox of Lyndon, Roger Cox of Wellington, Mark Cox of Topeka and David Cox of Caldwell, Idaho; four daughters, Barbara Boushie of Topeka, Karen Kenny of Grain Valley, Missouri, Hope Brosius of Topeka and Jennifer Johnson of Topeka; one brother, Jefferson Molloy of Carbondale; thirty-two grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Nola will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 16 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Carbondale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Croix Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association, sent in care of the funeral home.
