Obituary

Osage City – Noble "Nobie" B. Noble, 66, recently of Atwood, Kansas and formerly of Osage City, Kansas departed this life Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born May 7, 1955 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Charles Berton and Rose Kathryn (Getsinger) Noble. Nobie grew up in Osage City and graduated from Osage City High School in 1973.

After high school, Nobie did the smartest thing in his life and left Osage City to go find the love of his life. That journey took him to Lyndon, Kansas, of course, where only the sweetest angels are found! And there he found his angel. There he married the love of his life, Robyn Pierce on July 31, 1976 in Lyndon, Kansas. They shared nearly twenty years of marriage before Robyn passed away on February 14, 1996. To this union they shared two daughters, Mackenzie and Jessie.

Nobie worked many years as a heavy equipment operator for various construction companies. He spent most of his life as an over-the-road truck driver where he drove for many trucking companies. Nobie was a member of the Local 101 Operating Engineers Union in KCMO and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Osage City.

Nobie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Robyn; and his three brothers, Pete, Mike and Dan Noble.

Nobie is survived by his two daughters, Mackenzie Curley (Philip) of Osage City and Jessie Noble (Rob Szymula) of Belton, Missouri; his two sisters, Cathryn Houghton of Osage City, Kansas and Priscilla Hamman (Bob) of Osage City, Kansas; and his three grandchildren, Jace Keim, Keaton and Collin Curley all of Osage City, Kansas.

Memorial services for Nobie will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon, Kansas. The family will receive friends from 6-8 P.M. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel. Nobie's daughters request that those attending the visitation and service wear jeans and your favorite Harley Davidson shirt or Racing shirt in honor of Nobie. Memorial contributions for Nobie may be made to the Noble Noble Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
