Burlingame — Nancy Lee Kline, 82, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on October 5, 1943, in Pontiac, Michigan, to Harold and Melinda (Marten) Richmond.

Nancy spent most of her life in Burlingame, where she graduated with the class of 1963 from Burlingame High School. She built a career with Southwestern Bell Telephone, working as an accounting clerk for 31 years before retiring. She was a proud member of the Southwestern Bell Telephone Pioneers.

On November 8, 1969, Nancy married William Eddy Kline in Osage City, and together they built a life and raised two sons.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Melinda; her brothers Harvey, Vernie, Donald, Delos, and Norman Richmond; her sister, Wanda Winans; and her half-brothers, Chuck and Ralph Sutton.

She is survived by her husband, Eddy, of over 56 years; her sons, Kris (Tricia) Kline of Burlingame and Tim Kline of Scranton; her brother, Gary Richmond; three grandchildren, Nic (Zayda) Kline, Kristen (Layton) Dreyer, and Kade Kline; three great-grandchildren, Blakely, Ezekiel, and Linley; and many other family members and friends, including her dearest and closest friend, Cindy Rothrock.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, at the Burlingame Cemetery.
