TOPEKA – Mittchell Allen Elmore, 63 of Topeka and formerly of Lyndon and Wellington, Kansas departed this life Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Topeka Center for Rehab and Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.

Mittchell was born October 15, 1957 in Wellington, Kansas the son of Leonard Corbett and Barbara Dawn (Hill) Elmore. He grew up in Lyndon and graduated from Lyndon High School in 1975.

Mittchell was a machinist by trade and worked most of his life for Plessey Aero Precision Corp. in Wellington, KS as an aircraft machinist. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, listening to music, working on classic cars and motorcycles.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Mittchell is survived by his two sisters, Linda Griffin (Jim) of Tecumseh, Kansas and Debi Cox (Tom) of Overland Park, Kansas; his stepmother, Virginia Elmore of Vassar, Kansas; and his nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Mittchell will be laid to rest in the Vassar, Kansas Cemetery.  No services are planned at this time due to COVID-19.  A memorial contribution can made to Heartland Hospice in honor of Mittchell and sent in c/o Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, Kansas 66451.
