Lawrence--Matthew Glenn Voigt, 46, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home in Lawrence, Kansas. He was born on August 27, 1974 in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Wayne Voigt and Karen Cain Pickett.

Matthew had grown up in Tecumseh and Burlingame where he had lived since 1984, and graduated from Burlingame High School in 1992. He had lived in Lawrence for the last 15 years.

Matthew was a Supervisor at General Dynamics Information Technologies in Lawrence. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.

Matthew is survived by his Mom and Step Dad, Karen and John Pickett of Burlingame; his Dad and step mom, Wayne Voigt and Sharon Booth of Topeka; his brother, Wade Voigt of Lawrence; and his three step siblings, Kurt (Shelly) Pickett of Topeka, Kim (David) Hibbert of Auburn and Keith (Lisa) Pickett of Augusta.

Graveside services for Matthew will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, June 12 at the Burlingame Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Matthew may be made to the Burlingame Schuyler Museum and Burlingame Friends of the Library, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, Kansas 66451.
