OSAGE CITY – Mary Jean Kitt, 67 of Osage City, Kansas departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2020 at the Osage Nursing Center in Osage City. She was born September 24, 1953 in Ottawa, Kansas the daughter of James Matthew and Mary Jane (Toumberlin) LeValley. She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1971.

Mary was a homemaker for most of her life, raising her two children.

Mary was married to Kerry Kitt for over thirty years. They later divorced. To this union they shared two children, Stephanie and Darin Kitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Jane (Toumberlin) LeValley and James Matthew LeValley of Ottawa, Kansas; and two brothers, Jimmy and Victor LeValley both of Ottawa, Kansas.

Mary is survived by her two children, Stephanie Kitt of Burlington, Kansas and Darin Kitt of Garnett, Kansas; brother, Charles LeValley of Olathe, Kansas; sister, Bonnie LeValley of Ottawa, Kansas; and her step-mother, Edith LeValley of Ottawa, Kansas.
