Vassar--Mary Ann Coffee, 75, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on August 26, 1943 in Edwardsville, Illinois, the daughter of John and Ruth Dolejs Rojak.
Mary Ann had lived in Collinsville, IL. before moving to Vassar in 2002. She had been a Legal Secretary for many years and retired from Husch & Eppenberger Law Firm in St. Louis, Missouri. Mary Ann was active in the Illinois VFW Auxiliary and was State President in 2001-2.
On August 24, 1973, Mary Ann was married to William "Pat" Coffee in Caseyville, IL. Bill preceded her in death on November 6, 2009.
Mary Ann is survived by her two god-daughters, Jody Yarber and Laura Barr; her brother, John Rojak; her sister-in-law, Carol Cummins; her nephew, Kent Kilgore; her niece, Roxanne Kilgore; her step-son, Bill Coffee and her step-daughter, Johanna McDowell.
Memorial services for Mary Ann will be at 11:00a.m on Saturday, November 10 at the Vassar United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in the Lakeview Memorial Gardens at Fairview Heights, Illinois. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vassar United Methodist Church. Feltner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
