Shawnee - Marsha Ann McClellan, 83, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. She was born on March 18, 1940, in Lyndon, Kansas, the daughter of Keith and Ruth (Johnston) Williams.

Marsha grew up in Lyndon and graduated from Lyndon High School in 1958. She had lived in Prairie Village, Lenexa and then Shawnee for the last 60 years.

Marsha retired as Head Cook for the Shawnee Mission South High School after 35 years of working in food services for the district. She was a member of the Valley View United Methodist Church in Overland Park.

On April 11, 1960, Marsha was united in marriage to James McClellan in Kamiseya, Japan. To this union two daughters were born, Karen and Krista.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Ruth.

Marsha is survived by her husband, James of 63 years; her two daughters, Karen (Dave) Pjesky of Halstead and Krista (Jeff) Brull of Lake Quivira; her brother, Roger (Anita) Williams of Loveland, Colorado; her four grandchildren, Dustin Brull, Matthew Pjesky, Brooke Brull (Garrett Wiegele), and Andrew Pjesky; and two great-grandchildren, Bruin and Webb Wiegele.

Funeral services for Marsha will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 9 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to service time on Saturday.
