Obituary

Topeka - Marjorie Mae McDonald, 91, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024, in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on September 6, 1932, in Osage City, Kansas the daughter of Victor F. Rosetta Sr and Mae (Kinney) Rosetta. She graduated from Osage City High School and attended Clark's Business School. She worked for Southwestern Bell, Illinois Bell, Miracie Water Company and Marshall Field's in Chicago, Illinois. After returning to Topeka, she worked for Payless Shoesource before retiring in 1998.

Marjorie was married to Harry Crim in 1951, until his death in 1982. She married George Romeka in 1984 until his death in 1985. In 1993 she was married to Donald McDonald until his passing in 1997.

She is survived by her two brothers, Victor F. Rosetta Jr (Gerry) Kimberling City, Missouri, Emil John Rosetta (Kathy), Tecumseh; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her sister Mary Colson; her brother, Calvin Fred Rosetta and a niece, Amy Warren.

She enjoyed oil painting, playing cards and traveling. She was able to visit all 50 states as well as 12 different countries.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am on Friday, July 5 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Osage City. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until service time. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Osage City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cat Association of Topeka, Helping Hands Humane Society or St. Patrick's Church, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
