Lyndon - Marcella Ann "Sally" Fenwick, 87, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on July 14, 1938, in Granby, Missouri, one of five daughters born to Truman and Ellen (Jones) Renfro.
Sally and her husband Neal moved to Lyndon in the 1960s where they raised their family, owned a business, and were active members of the community. She was the school secretary at Lyndon High School for 26 years, the smiling face when you had to go to the principal's office. She attended the Lyndon United Methodist Church and was a member of the United Methodist Women's group. Sally enjoyed meeting with her card and game groups twice a week and trips to the casino with Anita on Saturday's. Her best days were spent with her family. She dedicated her life to helping others.
On August 12, 1956, Sally was united in marriage to Neal Fenwick in Harrisonville, Missouri. To this union two children were born, Anita and Tom.
Sally was preceded in death by Neal on December 12, 2006; by her parents, Truman and Ellen; and by her four sisters. Cleva Culley, Glena Otterness, Patricia Ewing and Phyllis Weemes.
Sally is survived by her two children, Anita (William) Rissen of Lyndon and Tom (Tara) Fenwick of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; by her five grandsons, Mike (Stephanie) Rissen and Robert Rissen; Devin (Amanda) Fenwick, Blake Fenwick, and Lucas (Shari) Fenwick; and by her six great-grandchildren, Adelynn and Waylon Rissen, Kaden and Madison Fenwick, Cameron Fenwick and Ja'Corey Gardenshire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services for Sally will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 27 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Lyndon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:30pm on Sunday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions in memory of Sally may be made to Brookside Retirement Community, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS 66451.
