Overbrook--Lyle Keith Gilkey, 77, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at his home west of Overbrook, Kansas  He was born on July 21, 1939 in Los Angeles, California, the son of Lyle and Jeraldine Gentry Gilkey.
Keith had lived in rural Overbrook for over 20 years, having moved from Whittier, California.
He was a sales supervisor and manager for the Sparkletts Drinking Water Company in California and was a Cattle Rancher near Overbrook.  He was a member of the Grace Community Church in Overbrook.
On September 28, 1957 Keith was married to Judy Ann Mudra in Whittier, California.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle and Jeraldine.
Keith is survived by his wife Judy of 59 years; his three daughters, Sherry Romano (Dan), Kathleen Ogle (Gene) and Brenda Mudge; his half brother, Calvin Lawson; and seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Keith will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 7 at the Grace Community Church in Overbrook.  Inurnment will be in the Memorial Gardens in Brea, California at a later date.
