Lyndon - Lisa Ann Slonaker, 58, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on July 2, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of John and Margaret (Shisler) Slonaker.

Lisa grew up near Vassar and had lived in Clearwater, Florida for many years before moving to Lyndon in 2017.

Lisa graduated from Lyndon High School in 1985 and then attended Emporia State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Rehab Services in 1989. Through her working career, she had worked in the medical industry, service industry and in merchandising for the Phillies Baseball organization. While at Emporia she was a Little Sis of the Sigma Pi Fraternity and over her life she was an avid animal lover.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Maggie Slonaker of Vassar; her significant other, Lynn Atchison of Lyndon; her sister, Donna (Rob) Owens of Vassar; her nephews, Jacob (Camila) Owens of Salem, Oregon and Joshua (Jessica, son Jonah) Owens of Overland Park; her niece, Rachel Owens of Emporia; her daughter via Lynn, Miranda Powell of Gardner; her two grandsons via Lynn, Ryton Powell and Brysen Atchison; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services for Lisa will be at 11:00am on Friday, January 16 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Burial will be in the Vassar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
