Linda Sharon Ward's Obituary
Vassar - Linda Sharon Ward, 66, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2023, at her home on Lake Pomona, near Vassar, Kansas. She was born on January 12, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Ralph and Carolyn (Morris) Ward.
Linda had lived in California for many years until moving to Vassar 5 years ago.
Linda worked as a money handler for CostCo for many years. She was skilled as a Shadow Dancer and a Drummer.
Linda was united in marriage to Steve Wheeler on May 21, 2006, in San Diego, California.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Carolyn.
Linda is survived by her husband, Steve, of Vassar; and her two sisters, Carol Ward of Vassar and Janet Ward of Lincolnton, North Carolina.
A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on July 4, 2023, at Pomona Lake.
