Linda Short, 68, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on June 24, 1951 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Everett and Beverly (Martin) Blackwell. Linda had lived in Lyndon several years.

Linda was a Homemaker most of her life and had worked at Jostens in Topeka as a Printing Press Operator.
On June 23, 1978, Linda was married to Bradley Short.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Brad, on August 12, 2019; by her daughter, Tracy Newton; by her sister, Donna Croston; and by her parents, Everett and Beverly.

Linda is survived by her three sons, Eddie (Jenny) Hays, Chris Steele and Paul Short; her daughter, Jessica (Scott) Cowdin; her two brothers, Tom (Connie) Blackwell and Kenny Blackwell; and fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorial services for Linda will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, October 26 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Linda Short Memorial Fund, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451
