Linda Lee Robinson, 74, of Lyndon, KS passed away on June 18, 2021 with her daughter beside her and her son on the phone. In true "Linda style" she left this world peacefully but only after defying many odds over the past few years of health struggles. No matter the struggle Linda was always more worried about others. She was a pillar of strength and love to the very end.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Gertrude Miller of Palco Ks.

Linda is survived by her two children, JD Robinson (Susie) of Meriden Ks, and Dianna Hutchcroft (Robert) of Lyndon Ks; her beloved grandchildren Nathaniel Robinson, Colton Hutchcroft and Josye Hutchcroft; her four siblings, Rick Miller (Boua) of Monmouth, IL, Judy Mohr (Gary) of

Indianapolis, IN, Dena Barclay of Mountain Home, ID and Cliff Miller (Melissa) of Ellis, KS; an uncle Arthur Dubus (Kathy) of Denver, CO and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly from afar.

Linda was born on September 2, 1946 in McPherson, Kansas and graduated from Oakley High School in 1964. She was a member of 4H, enjoyed sewing and spent her youth helping around the farm. Linda also loved music and played violin in the school orchestra. Linda often spent time in the summer staying with her grandparents in McPherson KS and continued her visits every Easter on her way to visit family in Palco with her children.

Linda raised her kids in Lyndon while working 2 jobs most of their youth. She worked at Save-More-Foods, Osco Drug, and Kwik Shop in Topeka, the Lyndon Stop-2-Shop, and she bartended around the Topeka area for many years. In her later years she worked as a caregiver for individuals in need, then retired due to her health.

Linda was "mom" to anyone that wanted her to be. Her children's friends often referred to her as their second mom and her home was always open to them. There was always laughter in her home because you never knew when she was going to start a water fight, pillow fight, or

wrestling match. Linda was ornery and enjoyed a good teasing. Linda loved to cook from scratch, and often adapted recipes she learned from her mother. She was a member of the Jaycee Jaynes, a den mother, and spent time playing cards with her friends. In her later years her time was filled with long conversations with friends and family and being a loving grandmother.

Becoming a grandmother was one of Linda's greatest joys. Water fights, pillow fights, and wrestling matches were passed on to her grandchildren as well. She never missed a birthday or holiday with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them grow over the years and enjoyed

attending their music concerts, sporting events, pageants, and any other activity they were involved in. If she couldn't be there in person, she demanded pictures and wanted to hear all about it. Linda is incredibly proud of her grandchildren and will always be by their side, cheering

them on or giving them a hug from heaven.

We miss you dearly mom, grandma, and big sis.

A Celebration of Life will be held July 31st, 11 am at Lyndon United Methodist Church, Lyndon, Kansas with brunch also to be served. Masks required due to a family member's weakened health condition.
