Topeka--Linda Jones-Norland, 62, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at her home in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on June 18, 1953 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Donald L. and Doris N. Burns Jones.
Linda grew up in Lyndon and lived in Topeka for the past 26 years. She graduated from Lyndon High School, attended Emporia State University and Washburn University. For a time, she had been the librarian at the Lyndon Carnegie Library.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Doris. She is survived by her brother, Donald Jones (Ruth) of Lyndon.
Linda was cremated and private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Lyndon Cemetery.
