Melvern - Linda Diane Fellers, 73, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her home near Melvern, Kansas. She was born on June 5, 1951, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Dean and Vona (Rea) Rice.

Linda had lived all of her life in or near the Melvern community. She graduated from Melvern High School in 1969.

Linda had worked as a Para for the Melvern school, was a dental assistant and had worked for the Osage County Courthouse.

On October 23, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to John L. Fellers in Leoti, Kansas. To this union two daughters were born, Jill and Mendy.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John on August 24, 2024; by her parents, Dean and Vona; by an infant brother, Johnnie; and by one sister, Lori Privat.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Jill Shannan Buenaflor of Wood Heights, Missouri and Mendy Danielle Craig of Melvern; her sister, Jeannie Brownlee of Wichita; her three grandchildren, Ashton Damian, Madison Burns and Conner Craig; her two great-grandchildren, Gunner Damian and Greyson Damian; other relatives and friends.

There will be no services at this time, a Celebration of Life for Linda will be announced at a later date. Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon is assisting the family.
