Overbrook - Letha Elizabeth Haslett, 98, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, Kansas. She was born on May 21, 1926, in Hoyt, Kansas, the daughter of James and Ruth (Littleton) Hunt.

Letha grew up in Hoyt and had lived many years in the Overbrook community. Letha was a homemaker and had cooked at Brookside Retirement for a number of years. She was a member of the Grace Community Church in Overbrook.

Letha was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ruth; and brother John Hunt of Salina.

She is survived by her son, Clarence Edward Haslett, Jr. of Warsaw, Missouri; her sister, Anna Marie Chalmers of Topeka; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Letha will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, June 29 at the Grace Community Church in Overbrook. Inurnment will be in the Valley Brook Cemetery at a later date.
