Osage City--Lester L. Arb, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the Topeka Center in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on March 4, 1936 in Lebo, Kansas, the son of Harvey and Nellie Childers Arb.

Lester grew up in Lebo, had lived in Lyndon for 47 years and had been in Osage City since 2008.

Lester was a self employed carpenter, roofer and painter. He was a member of the Euclid Lodge #101 A.F. & A.M., the Osage County Historical Society, both in Lyndon. He had been a member of the Presbyterian Church. He loved his vegetable and flower gardens.

On July 19, 1957, Lester was married to Dora Manning in Lebo.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara; and his two brothers, Wilbur and Harvey.

Lester is survived by his wife, Dora of the home; his three children, Diana (Leo) Klumpe of Topeka, Larry (Kathy) Arb of Osage City and Debbie (Jim) Miller of Hall, Texas; his sister, Geneva Phillips of Osawatomie; three granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Lester was cremated and memorial services will be held at a later date.
