Osage City - Lesley Ann Berner, 43, passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022, in an auto accident in Osage County. She was born on November 14, 1978, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Larry and Laurie (Farwell) Rafferty.
Lesley grew up in Lyndon and had lived in Osage City since 2012.
Lesley graduated from Lyndon High School in 1997. She had worked for the Osage County Sheriff's Department as a communications officer. She was currently working as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Angels Care Home Health.
Lesley was married to Patrick Berner on August 24, 2007, in Seattle, Washington.
Lesley was preceded in death by her father, Larry on April 28, 1980.
Lesley is survived by her husband, Patrick of the home; her son, Quentin Finan of Bellevue, Nebraska; her two daughters, Kyndra Finan of Bellavista, Arkansas and Taelynn Finan of Osage City; her stepdaughter, Justine Berner of Topeka; her mother, Laurie Bunker and husband Jeff of Osage City; her stepfather, Dahl Fry of Eskridge; her two sisters, Katie Hoffman of Auburn and Sarah Fry of Lawrence; and her two grandchildren, Raylyn Martin and Jace Farwell.
Funeral services for Lesley will be at 10:30am on Saturday, January 8 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Lyndon Cemetery.
