Burlingame--Larry "Burly" White, 67, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at his home in Burlingame. He was born on October 11, 1948 in Baileyville, Kansas, the son of Virgell and Martha Gough White.
Burly had lived in Topeka before moving to Burlingame. He had worked for Higgins Stone in Topeka and Dover for many years, then had worked for a time at Terry's Service in Lyndon for the last couple of years. Burly had served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the BoozeFighters Motorcycle Club.
Burly was married to Debie Bennett, they later divorced. He married Brenda Hawks, they later divorced. His longtime companion was Wanda Burge, she preceded him in death on June 27, 2015.
Burly was also preceded in death by his parents, Virgell and Martha; a brother, Donald White; and two sisters, Kathryn McLaughlin and Lois Lein.
Burly is survived by his son, Randy White; his daughter, Kymberly Rodgers; two brothers, William White and Royce White; and several grandchildren.
Memorial services for Burly will be held at 7:30pm on Thursday, October 29 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 7:00pm until service time. Inurnment will be in the Lincoln Cemetery in Lebo at a later date.
