Quenemo--Larry Elliot Christenson, 68, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at his home south of Quenemo. He was born on December 29, 1951 in Amery, Wisconsin, the son of Irvin and Evelyn (Mickelson) Christenson.

Larry had lived in Melvern before moving to his home four years ago.

Larry received his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and then worked for John Deere Inc. He retired as an Executive Officer. He had been a member of Lutheran and Methodist Churches.

On September 28, 1974, Larry was united in marriage to Valerie Whitlark in Amery, Wisconsin. To this union, six children were born.

Larry is survived by his wife, Valerie, of 45 years; his son, Cody Christenson of Quenemo; his five daughters, Cherelle Curley and husband Mike of Kansas City, Missouri, Carissa Jans and husband Jesse of North Liberty, Iowa, Cammi Stratman of Topeka, Courtney Kaus and husband Aaron of Overland Park and Cayla Norris and husband Brendan of Helena, Montana; his brother, Gary Christenson of Amery, Wisconsin; and thirteen grandchildren, Lindon and Drake Curley, Jeffrey and Jordan Jans, Madison and Silas Stratman, Keaton, Kennedy and Kendall Kaus and Freya, Aviana, Pierce and Garrick Norris.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
