Osage City – Kilena Louise Dorr, 88, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on July 26, 1936, in Osage City, Kansas, the daughter of Jack and Marguerite (Berner) Curley.

Kilena was a lifelong resident of Osage City. She graduated from Osage City High School in 1954.

Kilena worked for her best friends, Maurice and Jackie Johnson at the old Armand's Cafe, for a time at Parks Pharmacy and then for many years at Hallmark Cards, all in Osage City. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Osage City.

Kilena was united in marriage to Max Dorr on May 20, 1956, in Osage City. To this union three children were born, Kelly, David and Robin.

Kilena was preceded in death by her husband, Max on July 16, 2012; by two step grandsons, Jeremiah and Jamison Tevis; and by two brothers-in-law, Ron Bleidissel and Ike Garland.

Kilena is survived by her three children, Max Kelly (Marcia) Dorr of Kansas City, KS, David Dorr and Robin Dorr, both of Osage City; by her brother, John (Sheila) Curley; by her three sisters, Carol Bleidissel, Kay Garland and Kathy (Bill) Beyer; her four grandchildren, Malissa (Jason) Krause, Scott (Ashley) Dorr, Jami Perry and Clayton (Lyndsey) Facklam; and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial service for Kilena will be at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 19 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. The family will receive friends from 9:00am until service time.
