Vassar--Kevin Ray Good, 64, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his home in Vassar, Kansas. He was born on February 17, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Raymond and Betty Musick Good.
Kevin grew up in La Cygne and had lived in Ottawa for many years before moving to Vassar in 2005.
Kevin worked for Haven Steel, which became Schuff Steel, in Ottawa, until his retirement after 34 years of service.
Kevin was married to Karen Lee on June 24, 2000 in New Lancaster.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Raymond.
Kevin is survived by his wife Karen of the home; his mother, Betty Good of Osage City; his two daughters, Deanna Ryals of Lindsborg and Daretha (Brian) Woolworth of Edgerton; three grandchildren, Jake Ryals, Emmie Ryals and Maggie Ryals; and his dog Daisy.
Graveside services for Kevin will be at 1:00pm on Friday, October 19 at the East Mt. Zion Cemetery, La Cygne, Kansas. Memorial contributions in memory of Kevin may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
