Overbrook--Kathryn "Kathy" Coffman, 61, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2019 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on April 12, 1958 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Rex and Leona Orindgreff Fanning.
Kathy grew up in Melvern, had lived in Osage City, and had been in Overbrook for over 30 years.
Kathy was an insurance agent for many years in Osage City and Overbrook. She was co-owner of the Scranton Tavern for the last several years.  She was a member of the Overbrook United Methodist Church, where she had worked on several boards. She had been a member of the Overbrook Pride and the New U group.
On August 11, 1984, Kathy was married to Dana Coffman near Lyndon.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Leona.
Kathy is survived by her husband Dana of 35 years; her three daughters, Jodi (LeRoy) Anderson of Overbrook, Jamie (Daniel) Whitmore of Perry and Shelli (Kyle) Ribelin of Hoyt; her sister, Jean Talbott of Fairview, Texas; and three grandchildren, with one on the way.
Funeral services for Kathy will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, August 17 at the Overbrook United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Overbrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm on Friday at the church.
