CARBONDALE – June (Earl) Branson, 95, of Carbondale, Kansas passed away, Sunday, May 2, 2021 at the Brookside Manor in Overbrook. She was born June 1, 1925 in Fall River, Kansas the daughter of Edgar D. and Zella (Johnson) Earl.

On January 5, 1944 June was united in marriage to Frank Dale Branson. They shared over 71 years of marriage before Frank passed away on October 17, 2015. To this union, three sons were born: Jack Dean, Frank James and Richard Allen.

June was a devoted wife and mother and spent most of her early life taking care of her family. In her later years she worked at Skip's Thriftway in Carbondale for many years, and she would also help with odd job home repairs with her husband Frank.

June is preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank; son, Jack Dean Branson (March 26, 2004); three brothers, John, Dale and Everette Earl; three sisters, Viola Hawn, Zella Mae Branson and Annabell Kitchens.

June is survived by three sons, Frank James "Jim" Branson (Patti), Richard "Dick" Allen Branson (Darlene) and Roy David Moore (Susan) all of Carbondale, Kansas; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Graveside memorial services will be 1 P.M., Wednesday May 12, 2021 at the Carbondale Cemetery, Carbondale, Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to Osage County Fire District #1 and sent in care to Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, Kansas 66451.
