Overbrook - Judyann Gilkey, 87, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at her home near Overbrook, Kansas. She was born on January 11, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, the only daughter of James and Lillian "Lillie" (Sellers) Mudra.

Judyann lived in Ohio until age 5 and then moved to Whittier, California where she grew up. She had lived near Overbrook for the last 30 years.

Judyann had worked as a Paraprofessional for Santa Fe Trail School District for several years. She took great care of her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren for many years. She was a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma "GG".

On September 28, 1957, Judyann was united in marriage to Keith Gilkey in Whittier, California.

Judyann was preceded in death by her husband, Keith on January 1, 2017; by a daughter, Connie Gilkey; and by her parents, James and Lillian.

Judyann is survived by her three daughters, Sherry (Dan) Romano, Kathy (Gene) Ogle and Brenda Mudge; by her two brothers, James Mudra and Dan Mudra; by her seven grandchildren; by her fifteen great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life for Judyann will be held at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Grace Community Church in Overbrook. Inurnment will be in California at a later date.
