Melvern--John Hagen, 87, passed away on Friday June 8, 2018 at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on July 29, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of John and Beatrice Baldwin Hagen.
John had lived in Melvern for a number of years and had been in Olathe for the last year.
John retired from the United States Air Force at the rank of Master Sergeant after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Melvern American Legion Post #317 and the Melvern United Methodist Church.
On September 27, 1959, John was married to Neva Kay Lane in Melvern.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Tom Hagen; and his sister, Joan McGrath.
John is survived by his wife Kay of the home; his four children, Robert Hagen of Alabama, John Hagen of Sweden, Douglas Hagen of Kansas and Linda Mills of Kansas; his two sisters, Bea Lightfoot and Doris McGrath; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Friday, June 15 at the Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon.
