Melvern - John L. Fellers, 75, passed away on August 24, 2024, at the Olathe Hospice House in Olathe, Kansas. He was born on September 7, 1948, in Emporia, Kansas, the son of Justin and Lorena (McNabb) Fellers.

John had lived all of his life in and near Melvern, Kansas. He graduated from Melvern High School in 1966.

John served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He was an owner and operator of Precision Grading for
many years.

On October 23, 1969, John was united in marriage to Linda Diane Rice in Leoti, Kansas. To this union, two daughters were born, Jill Shannan and Mendy Danielle.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Justin Fellers and Lorena Carlat.

John is survived by his wife Linda of 54 years; his two daughters, Jill Shannan Buenaflor of Wood Heights, Missouri and Mendy Danielle Craig of Melvern; his two brothers, Robert N. Fellers of Lebo and Dan W. Fellers of Melvern; his sister, LeAnn Fouts of Auburn; his three grandchildren, Ashton Damian, Madison Burns and Conner Craig; his two great-grandchildren, Gunner Damian and Greyson Damian; other relatives and friends.

To his family, he was the Great John L. Fellers, and they will greatly miss him, but he will always be with them and live on in their memories.

There will be no services, a Celebration of Life for John will be announced at a later date. Feltner Funeral Home in Lyndon is assisting the family.
