Osage City - Joe F. Casiano III, 69, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at his home in Osage City, Kansas. He was born on October 29, 1953, in Waco, Texas, the son of Joe and Margaret (Palacios) Casiano II.

Joe grew up in Waco and had lived in Sherman, Texas before moving to Osage City several years ago.

Joe had worked in construction most of his life and had worked at Orbis in Osage City for 4 years. He was a member of the Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Lyndon.

Joe was united in marriage to Joy Wheeler on February 3, 2012 in Sherman, Texas.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Margaret; an infant son, Paul Casiano; and two brothers, Johnny Casiano and Manuel "Manny" Casiano.

Joe is survived by his wife, Joy of the home; his four sons, Joe Casiano IV, Daniel Casiano, Charles Casiano, all of Ft. Worth, Texas and Joe Casiano V of Topeka; his stepson, Vincent Lowden of Ark City; his four daughters, Suzan Casiano, Dee "Sissy" Casiano, JoAnna Casiano and Anna Jo Casiano, all of Ft. Worth, Texas; his step daughter, Karina Cowling of Ark City; three brothers, Harry Casiano, Carlos "Candy" Casiano and Tony Casiano, all of Ft. Worth, Texas; his sister, Margaret Nona Hernandez of Ft. Worth, Texas; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service for Joe will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 29, at the Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Lyndon. Inurnment will be in the Alpine Cemetery, Olivet, KS. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God Church.
