Lyndon--Joe W. Brooks, 67, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at his home in Lyndon. He was born on June 12, 1948 in Sunflower County, Mississippi, the son of Jesse and Ina Devore Brooks.
Joe had lived in Shawnee, Kansas for many years before moving to Lyndon in 1990. He had worked in construction as a Roofer.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Belton Brooks, Robert Brooks and Bill Brooks.
Joe is survived by his companion, Nancy Cruce of Lyndon.
Joe will be cremated, no services are planned at this time. Feltner Funeral Home is assisting the family.
