Lyndon--Jeffery D. Payne, 58, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on March 23, 1959 in Gardner, Kansas the son of James and Helen Jenks Payne, Sr.
Jeff had lived in Lyndon most of his life. He had worked as a mechanic of Sloop Sales & Hook Repair's south of Lyndon for several years.
Jeff was married to Rebecca "Susie" Bruntmyer on June 30, 1990 at Pomona Lake.
Jeff is survived by his wife Susie of the home; two sons, George Miller and Tim Miller; daughter, Jamie Payne; mother, Helen Gehrke; step mother, Joan Payne; sister, Kathy Christiason; half brother, James Payne, Jr.; and two half sisters, Mae Duncan and Sheri Peter.
Jeff was cremated. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00pm on Saturday, October 14 at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeff Payne Memorial Fund, for final expenses, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topekka Avenue, Lyndon, KS. 66451.
