Bulingame--Janice Kay Clabaugh, 68, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at her home in Burlingame, Kansas. She was born on August 16, 1947 in Junction City, Kansas, the daughter of Lawrence and Maxine Trainer Heskett.

Janice had lived most of her life in Topeka and then in Carbondale before moving to Burlingame four years ago.

Janice was a Homemaker all of her life and a member of the Federated Church in Burlingame. She enjoyed gardening, canning, playing guitar and jigsaw puzzles. She loved her family and friends and taking care of all of them.

Janice was married to Wayne Clabaugh, Jr. on September 16, 1961 in Junction City. They divorced in August of 1986.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, R.D. Heskett; and three sisters, Elaine Heskett, Jean Heskett and Betty Arbuthnott.

Janice is survived by her two sons, Wayne (Wendy) Clabaugh III of Clover, S.C. and Michael (Oralia) Clabaugh of Rialto, CA.; her two daughters, Brenda Freel (Larry Calvin) of Burlingame and Laura Clabaugh of Kansas; her partner, Karen Baker of Burlingame; her two sisters, Paula Test of Ponca City, OK. and Patricia Heskett of Topeka; thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services for Janice will be at 2:00p.m. on Saturday, October 10 at the Federated Church in Burlingame. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:30pm on Friday at the Community Building at the Townsite Apartments in Burlingame. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS. 66451.
