Eudora - Janelle Lynn Arb, 57, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She was born on October 11, 1963 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Howard and JoAnn (Fanning) Arb.

Janelle grew up in Melvern and had lived in Eudora for the last 30 years.

Janelle graduated from Marias des Cygnes Valley High School in 1982 where she had been a Jr. High and High School Cheerleader and was very active in 4-H, showing cattle and cooking. She then graduated from Emporia State University in 1986 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She was a cheerleader for Emporia State, was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority and sang with the Prairie Fire Band of Emporia for 10 years. Janelle taught preschool special education at Eudora and Baldwin City Schools for over 30 years. She was the cheerleading sponsor for Jr. High and High School at Eudora for several years.

Janelle was preceded in death by her Dad, Howard Arb on September 12, 2020; and her sister, Tammy Foster on December 22, 2018.

Left to mourn her passing are her mother, JoAnn Arb; her two sisters, Debra Arb and Christy Arb; her brother, Keith Arb and wife Denise; her niece, Kyelie Arb; and many aunts, cousins and friends.

Graveside services for Janelle will be at 2:00pm on Friday, October 1 at the Melvern Cemetery, Melvern, Kansas.
