Lyndon - James Rlyn Wiley, 75, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2026, at his home in Lyndon, Kansas. He was born on April 6, 1951, the son of Rlyn and Lois (Hurle) Wiley, in Emporia, Kansas.

Jim grew up on an Osage County dairy farm. He attended C-3 country school until it closed in 1959. He attended Lyndon schools and graduated from Lyndon High School in 1969. He earned an Associates Degree from Allen County Community College and then attended Wichita State University.

Jim moved to Montezuma, Kansas and farmed with his brother for over ten years until moving to Pratt, where he worked for Kincheloe's Farm Equipment. He retired as parts manager and eventually returned to Lyndon to be near family.

Jim enjoyed spending time with family and attending high school sporting events. He had an ability to find the perfect card to highlight a special event in someone's life, which will be greatly missed. He always enjoyed driving his yellow SSR truck with the top retracted. Jim had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and their children and he will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Rlyn and Lois; and by a nephew, Brian Wiley.

Jim is survived by his two brothers, Les (Sandy) Wiley of Lindale, Texas and Charles (Shirley) Wiley of Osage City; by his sister, Doris (Mike) Foster of Topeka; by his two nephews, George (Mikki) Wiley of Argyle, Texas and Keith (Racheal) Wiley of Artesia, New Mexico; by his three nieces, Tiffany Foster of Topeka, Jordan Stotler of Marionville, Missouri and April (Steve) Wiley Perry of Lawrence; and other relatives and friends.

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, September 22, from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon. Private family burial will take place at Alpine Cemetery near Melvern Lake.
