Lebo--James "Jay" Petrechko, 60, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. He was born on May 7, 1956 in Sugar Creek, Missouri, the son of Edmund and Betty Onka Petrechko.

Jay has lived in Lebo for several years. He had attended the University of Missouri at Rolla and then worked for AT&T as a long distance operator for 15 years, and then was a shipping desk clerk for Wal-Mart Distribution in Ottawa for the last 15 years.

On March 19, 1993 Jay was married to Yvonne Grimes in Kansas City, Missouri.

Jay was preceded in death by his father, Edmund.

Jay is survived by his wife Yvonne of the home; his four daughters, Amy Aldrich of Bonner Springs, Dani Myrick of Lebo, Emily Oliver of Blue Springs, MO. and Katy Anderson of Independence, MO.; his mother Betty of Richmond, MO; his brother, Stephen Petrechko of Richmond, MO.; his sister, Gina Essig of Richmond, MO.; and nine grandchildren.

Private family funeral services will be held. Burial will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery east of Melvern. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Petrechko Memorial Fund, sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, KS., 66451.
