Lyndon - James Parley McCann, 95, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Vintage Park Assisted Living in Osage City, Kansas. He was born on June 19, 1928, in New Rockford, North Dakota, the son of Parley and Agnes (Hewitt) McCann.

Jim served in the United States Army Air Force and then in the United States Air Force. He served for over 32 years and retired in 1977 as a Chief Master Sergeant.

Jim traveled the world with the Air Force and after his retirement he settled in Topeka and then moved to Lyndon for several years.

Jim was married to Susie Stitt, she preceded him in death.

Jim will be cremated, and private family services will be at the Lyndon Cemetery at a later date.
